Fulfilling the dream of launching my own brand
I’ve always loved fashion. The desire to learn about it inside out grew so strong until one day I worked up the courage to give up my job as a hair stylist and join Baroque Japan.
While I was working as a member of the shop staff, I heard about an in-house audition to become the next new star. I signed up for it right away and won the grand prize of the first event.
The prize was the right to fulfill one dream. So I said I wanted to launch my own brand. I named it RIM.ARK. The spring/summer 2016 collection just made its shop debut.
Every day I feel a mixture of joy and tension about having my dream fulfilled at such high speed. I also believe no company other than Baroque Japan offers this huge an opportunity.
As director, I look forward to drawing on my experience at the shop and reflecting the customers’ voice in the products—comfortable clothes paying meticulous attention to detail. My goal is to share the RIM.ARK brand value with as many customers as possible.
