Based on the brand concept, work to transmit new trends by planning products, creating specifications and modifying samples. In addition, by taking advantage of their own personality, it is possible to express the world of the brand outside of the product.
When I became interested in fashion, the brand that I thought was the coolest was concentrated at Baroque. And on top of that my older sister who lives with me was working as a sales staff and I received stimulation from her because she looked really happy.
Everyday is filled with something that teaches me something and everything becomes a positive point for me. If I wasn’t doing this job, I don’t think I would have been able to convince myself to do something with such a sense of responsibility. What is attractive about my job is that I can express my imagination and emotions and message in the world of brand and express it to the world. I can relay my thoughts in the things I suggest without having to try to explain it orally. I think it varies from people to people how something is expressed, but I would like to continue to express my worldview in clothes and brand.
I still clearly remember the first exhibition I attended. Many women wore the clothes that I made for the first time, and were standing in front of the mirror with a smile on their faces. For two days, from morning till evening I was able to see close up such happy views and I decided in my heart that I would like them to enjoy it better and create something that would move their hearts as well.
The goal is to open a RIM.ARK street store and turn the back of the store into an office. There I would like to introduce not only apparel but items that I think are good from Japan and overseas and would like the people to know more about, and artists. I’d like to make it into a shop where people think “I can’t wait to go to that shop everyday!” The reason why I would like to create an office at the back of the store is that I would always want to grasp the situation in the store and also bring the customer and the staff closer together. Create a space from where they can get a glimpse of the workshop, something like that. This will give a fresh outlook as it would be rather rare for the customers to be able to see the workshop and it would lead to the staff being conscious of being looked at and they would feel that they have to stay sharp! (laugh) I’d also like to set up a cafe inside as well too, for taking a break.
I think that every job has a mission and responsibility, but it is not only important to produce results, but the process and the efforts experienced, and the connection with colleagues who worked together to produce the results is very important to me and becomes an energy that allows me to live more positively.
I think it’s a company really blessed with people and the reason why we all want to do our best is also because of the people in the company.
My work to create “patterns” for making clothes by referring to design drawings and photographs. The delivered samples and products are inspected, and precautions on sewing are created and sent to the factory to bridge the commercialization of the item.
I was attracted by the corporate philosophy of “challenge” and joined the company.
I remember I was a bit anxious because I heard that it was the first time that the technology department hired new graduates. However, at the same time, I thought it was a company that actively worked on new things, and I was attracted to that.
I think that being able to create a beautiful finished product from design drawings is how the pattern maker can show off his/her skills. One will feel how much you have grown when you can imagine the image of the design yourself and able to imagine this into a shape, thus being able to imagine something three-dimensional from a flat image. However, that shape will still have many differences from what the designer imagined. The process of getting closer to the ideal shape from there is an even more rewarding time.
When a skirt that I was in charge of was completed and that was posted to instagram, I was thrilled beyond anything that I felt when I was a student. I was also happy when someone told me “i purchased that skirt” that that skirt was finished to where someone would want to purchase it.
Currently I am in charge of bottoms such as skirts and pants but what I would like to challenge is to increase the number of shapes I am in charge of, and draw up patterns of other items such as dresses and blouses!
At Baroque Japan Limited, there are initiatives such as “NEXT IS YOU” to constantly incorporate new things. I think searching for work is very hard and takes its toil both physically and mentally, but it's also a good opportunity to take a good look at yourself so reconfirm what your strong points are and take confidence when taking the next step! You will sure to be reflected as someone who is very attractive.
My job is to do product development to purchasing planning and budget management and such. While looking at the market trends, considering the monthly product composition, determine the number of items ordered, the price, etc., and modify or launch new products according to the sales situation.
My dream, considering that I am working with fashion, is to be in charge of a brand that I think is wonderful and can really empathize with. Another point in making my decision was that ENFÖLD was a decisive positive team that was trying new things to grow, not satisfied with their current position.
I feel very satisfied with my work when something we got excited at and exclaiming that it’s good! it looks like it will sell! at the planning and sales team meeting actually sells as we expected after we order it or a product that has been added as we judged it the correct decision actually contributes to sales.
I am very happy and touched to see the products created through trial and error with the planning and production teams, or products that we strived hard to get to the stores in time actually placed at the store front, and seeing the customers actually buying them, or the sales staff actually interacting with the customers in a happy and lively manner.
MD's work consists of collaborative work with various people, not only planning, pattern makers and production teams, but also sales, store staff, and many other people. I would like to aim to create an environment where as a team we all face the same direction and we all grow in a positive way.
I think this company has a very flat human relationship. In addition, there are sales contests and such, and it is a very wonderful thing that the environment is such that the staff working at the forefront stores can work highly motivated.
I think Baroque Japan Limited is a company that will enthusiastically cheer you on if you have something you want to do. I would love to work together with someone who will grow in a positive way.
I control all the process from the specification as the base until the design becomes a product. Develop products with market competitiveness, paying attention to quality, cost, and delivery time. I also develop production bases and develop materials as well.
Before I joined the company I was a freelance working as an apparel OEM but I felt I wanted to grow myself a bit more. I had no experience in the production of ladies apparel but I joined the company as I wanted to tackle a new challenge.
Production management is to increase the profit for the company by more effectively producing products that are competitive, I think this is a worthwhile job where it connects directly with producing attractive products.
Several years ago, there was a renewal of the brand that I was in charge of at that time, and I got goosebumps when I saw a long line before the store before it opened. On that day, I was able to get results that exceeded my expectations, and I was very happy and moved.
"Pursuit of product development with market competitiveness" Baroque Japan Limited, as an SCM strategy, is promoting an increase in the ratio of direct transactions with factories. By strengthening partnerships with partner factories, we would like to further pursue competitive product development with team staffs.
Baroque Japan Limited has a working environment where young employees are very active and lively, and where they can enjoy working. The growth of each employee leads to the growth of the company. I would want to work with people who tackle various things in a positive way.
This work entails thinking about how to deliver finished products to customers. Grasp the daily sales situation in conjunction with the store and each department in the company, and execute optimal sales strategy.
I worked as an apparel distributor in my previous job, but I wanted to work and sell a company brand, and I wanted to work in an environment where I was involved in brand management from the start.
The joy is great when the results come out as envisioned as a strategy for sales promotion and PR. Since what kind of action leads to what results are clearly shown, sometimes I suffer but the sense of achievement when it works well is very attractive.
Since I restarted from a situation where I was totally ignorant, I struggled everyday not knowing which way to turn, but really felt I was able to grow by learning from many people. It is really wonderful when I am able to understand today what I could not understand yesterday and know that this is possible because of the cooperation of the people around me.
First is to grow the brand that I am in charge of. This is a must. I will take on the challenge of growing the brand so that it is recognized both internally and externally.
Baroque Japan Limited has an environment where people can freely exchange opinions without hesitation. Also, there are many people who are highly conscious about their job, so I think that it is the best environment for those who want to continue to learn and grow.
My job is selling products at mail order sites of our company and other companies. While managing day-to-day sales and products, I will provide services unique to EC that cannot be realized in real stores using IT technology.
During my job hunting, I thought that an industry where I could work while enjoying fashion was wonderful. The reason I decided to join Baroque was that I often shopped at MOUSSY in Tokyo, and I wanted to work with my favorite things! The rest is intuition!
That is when many customers purchase MOUSSY items. I feel that it is my responsibility to deliver the thoughts of the many people who are involved in the products up to the point of sales through EC, so I observe and am aware about the many things even where the customer cannot be seen, so we are working to make sure that the customers will feel that MOUSSY products are “nice”.
I was moved when I first got to see the results of analyses covering items such as what age groups purchased what products, and at which phase or stage, since it’s something that I didn’t really know while working in an actual store. I intend to make the best use of this information to create an environment in which customers can find the products they want more easily from now on.
My current goal is to increase the number of fans of the brand through EC! To that end, I feel that I will have to increase my experience and knowledge and grow fast!
During my job hunting, I had various conflicts, but what I finally decided with was my intuition. My policy is to believe in my intuition and to try it out! Every day I feel that the best part of Baroque is having fun and meeting nice friends!
A visual merchandiser creates shop displays that make products look even more attractive based on the brand concept. They create the design for the entire store from a visual point of view.
After experiencing department store brands and fashion building brands, I became a fan of fast fashion after working for a foreign-affiliated apparel brand, and I applied to Baroque Japan Limited as I saw an article about Baroque’s debut with the first fast fashion brand. The interviewer was also frank and cool, so I thought I definitely wanted to join the company!
What is most enjoyable is that I can express what I really want to do. We also on a daily bases discuss how we can improve the brand with the same AXUL division members and act on it, and together create the brand - that I think is attractive.
I was very impressed when I created the store layout together with the VMD beginners while teaching them for hours on how it was done, and that lead to results.
So right now is what shall I do based on the determined direction. That is my stance and I would like to be in a position where I can decide in which direction to go to pull the brand.
Baroque Japan Limited is a company that listens to the opinions of young people and allows them to actively challenges things they have never done before. The atmosphere of the workplace, because it is an apparel company, is full of cheerful and fun people and is a company where you can get to know many people on their off-time as well. I would be very happy if I can work with people who would try it anyway!
Overseas divisions supervise merchandising in each country, manage overseas stores and develop limited products and the like, and help develop newly-entered markets.
MOUSSY and SLY operate stores in many shopping malls located in Shanghai, Beijing and other cities in China, and they have a huge fan base, especially among young people. I decided to join the company so that I could connect Baroque not only to the people of China, my mother country, but also to other people around the world.
I currently work in a division known as the Global Affairs Promotion Center. My job is to create and translate global documentation on various brands, cultivate new markets, etc. I work hard every day to provide the same level of service available in Japan to our customers around the world.
When I was a sales trainee at the Shinjuku branch of AZUL BY MOUSSY, I had many opportunities to serve foreign customers in both Chinese and English. I had very little knowledge of coordination and fashion when I started, and I merely interpreted what my senior Japanese workers told me. I learned everything I could about clothing from my seniors and gradually built up the confidence to serve customers on my own. I was particularly delighted when the suggestions I made were taken by the customers.
My goal is to carry out marketing targeting potential consumers in nations Baroque Japan Limited has yet to reach, and to continue cultivating markets.
Those who intend to take on the world are welcome to join us and take on challenges with Baroque Japan Limited.
Work that aggregates products imported from overseas in a warehouse, and arranges a system to deliver them to stores and customers nationwide in cooperation with the distribution center. Also responsible for promoting new initiatives at logistics sites.
I was attracted to the possibilities that Baroque had, who handles multiple brands and enthusiastically is developing things globally.
Logistics tends to be seen as a rather dull department, but any small operational improvement will have a huge effect on the overall picture so that is where I feel satisfaction.
The Baroque Logistics Department regularly holds joint MTGs with cooperating shipping companies to share information, identify issues, and share progress in improvement activities. Since the overall optimization is important for the construction of the logistics system, it is a very useful learning opportunity to have a frank exchange of opinions with other companies.
I want to make use of new technologies such as AI, Iot, robots, etc. to make a new type of cool logistics unit that goes beyond the common sense.
Baroque Japan Limited has many opportunities such as in-house contests, and I think it is the best environment for those who want to challenge something.
For those of you who are passionate, please give it a challenge.
My work is to maximize the brand's worldview through exhibition planning, catalog production, and communication with the media so that more people can learn about the appeal of the brand. Sometimes I will myself become an advertising tower to transmit information.
When I was a student, I had the opportunity to interact with people at the head office, and the reason why I joined was because I felt the strong love they had for their brand. I want to work at Baroque Japan Limited using my media knowledge I learned at school! This is why I joined this company.
The best part of working as a PR for a fashion brand is the ability to work with a variety of artists, creators and models both in Japan and overseas.
Also, I feel very attracted to the work I do as a PR, which allows me to directly feel what the team has worked on being released and permeating the world.
It was the first time in three years that MOUSSY appeared on the TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 18S/S, where we were able to do a production with a live band for the first time. I could not stop the goosebumps from how cool it was beyond my imagination from the rehearsal stage and I started to cry when the actual production started...!
The goal is to be recognized as a “professional” both from inside and outside the company. I will continue to implement new challenges so that MOUSSY can shine even more than ever, so be sure keep an eye out!
There may not be that many companies in existence where you can work in an environment where there are seniors who can be respected. But at Baroque Japan Limited, that kind of environment is the norm, rather than the exception. I always try to work after asking the question, "Am I getting excited?" It is difficult to get others excited if you yourself are not excited. By becoming honest with items and incidents where I felt excited about, I can deal straight on with what I am working on.
As the face of the Baroque brand, my job is to increase the fans of the brand and the store by making our customers feel that they “want to buy from you again”. It is also to provide services that exceed customer expectations and improve customer satisfaction.
Working for an apparel job was new to me, but since I really loved the Baroque brand, I joined the company because I wanted to work here.
That is when a customer is challenged and accepts clothes and styles that we propose that they usually do not choose. I really feel great about doing this work when that customer comes back to the store again.
In the store that I belong to, there are many customers and staff who are passionate, and so I am very impressed when we try something as a team and achieve something.
I am aiming to become a store manager. We want to make AZUL BY MOUSSY a brand that everyone knows and provide services that will satisfy many people.
Baroque Japan Limited is a company where we can grow both internally and externally. I would love to work with people who like to communicate with others, people who want to be of use to others, people who like being fashionable and especially people who want to grow themselves!
My job is to manage stores nationwide by area, and do store development, store management in general, staff recruitment and staffing.
I grew up in the countryside and have always wanted to work at SHIBUYA 109 that had such a large momentum. Because MOUSSY was so famous, I wanted to surprise my friends and family as well.
It is most rewarding when the head office and the store work together and something bears fruit and achieve results.
One day, a letter arrived at the store saying that the customer was impressed with the customer service. I was impressed with the daily education of the store manager and the growth of the staff. Baroque Japan Limited has customer service training that aims to “provide customer satisfaction and excitement through customer service”, and I am most pleased when the customers are able to experience it!
I am interested in overseas business and want to spread the product and human power of Baroque Japan Limited to the world.
The good thing about Baroque Japan Limited is that there are many employees with compassion and passion, and their feelings continue on without being lost.
I think fashion has the power to change the flow of the times. I want to think about new things that only people can do in the present age of AI!
Develop, operate, and manage databases, operating systems, networks, etc. that support IT systems at stores and head office.
I am from South Korea, but the decisive factor that drew me to this company was “we will challenge to provide a better system to our customers regardless of their nationality or age”.
The reward for me is to get a difficult job done. While working on the job, one may struggle and hit the wall, but when you overcome the hurdles and achieve your goals, then, you will feel a sense of fulfillment.
When I made a mistake in the database operation check, and was depressed, my boss told me that "this work can only be learned by making a mistake”. After that, I made a habit of checking twice so as not to make the same mistake.
I would like to take on the challenge of security related work to provide a safe system to customers.
Baroque Japan Limited is working together across departmental boundaries to carry out its corporate philosophy of “challenges”. It is a company that thinks about each employee. I want to work with someone who can feel regret about the failures as well as the joy of success.
My job is managing money to generate important “profits” and “assets” for company management.
It was a company that developed fascinating Japanese fashion in my home country of China.
Accounting plays an important role that involves all the departments. The figures change every day and I think every day has something that can be learned. It is also attractive to be able to think about things from the perspective of the entire company.
The company’s first athletic meet was held last year. It was really wonderful!
I was very impressed to see the members of the departments with which I do not have much communication working hard towards the same goal.
It’s only been a short time since I have been transferred to accounting but I would like to absorb more knowledge and get qualified and become an accounting professional.
Baroque Japan Limited is a vibrant and easy-to-work environment where you can easily consult your supervisor about your opinions. There are also “NEXT IS YOU” and “Role-play Tournaments”, and I think this is a company full of opportunities.
