Based on the brand concept, work to transmit new trends by planning products, creating specifications and modifying samples. In addition, by taking advantage of their own personality, it is possible to express the world of the brand outside of the product.
When I became interested in fashion, the brand that I thought was the coolest was concentrated at Baroque. And on top of that my older sister who lives with me was working as a sales staff and I received stimulation from her because she looked really happy.
Everyday is filled with something that teaches me something and everything becomes a positive point for me. If I wasn’t doing this job, I don’t think I would have been able to convince myself to do something with such a sense of responsibility. What is attractive about my job is that I can express my imagination and emotions and message in the world of brand and express it to the world. I can relay my thoughts in the things I suggest without having to try to explain it orally. I think it varies from people to people how something is expressed, but I would like to continue to express my worldview in clothes and brand.
I still clearly remember the first exhibition I attended. Many women wore the clothes that I made for the first time, and were standing in front of the mirror with a smile on their faces. For two days, from morning till evening I was able to see close up such happy views and I decided in my heart that I would like them to enjoy it better and create something that would move their hearts as well.
The goal is to open a RIM.ARK street store and turn the back of the store into an office. There I would like to introduce not only apparel but items that I think are good from Japan and overseas and would like the people to know more about, and artists. I’d like to make it into a shop where people think “I can’t wait to go to that shop everyday!” The reason why I would like to create an office at the back of the store is that I would always want to grasp the situation in the store and also bring the customer and the staff closer together. Create a space from where they can get a glimpse of the workshop, something like that. This will give a fresh outlook as it would be rather rare for the customers to be able to see the workshop and it would lead to the staff being conscious of being looked at and they would feel that they have to stay sharp! (laugh) I’d also like to set up a cafe inside as well too, for taking a break.
I think that every job has a mission and responsibility, but it is not only important to produce results, but the process and the efforts experienced, and the connection with colleagues who worked together to produce the results is very important to me and becomes an energy that allows me to live more positively.
I think it’s a company really blessed with people and the reason why we all want to do our best is also because of the people in the company.
My work to create “patterns” for making clothes by referring to design drawings and photographs. The delivered samples and products are inspected, and precautions on sewing are created and sent to the factory to bridge the commercialization of the item.
I was attracted by the corporate philosophy of “challenge” and joined the company.
I remember I was a bit anxious because I heard that it was the first time that the technology department hired new graduates. However, at the same time, I thought it was a company that actively worked on new things, and I was attracted to that.
I think that being able to create a beautiful finished product from design drawings is how the pattern maker can show off his/her skills. One will feel how much you have grown when you can imagine the image of the design yourself and able to imagine this into a shape, thus being able to imagine something three-dimensional from a flat image. However, that shape will still have many differences from what the designer imagined. The process of getting closer to the ideal shape from there is an even more rewarding time.
When a skirt that I was in charge of was completed and that was posted to instagram, I was thrilled beyond anything that I felt when I was a student. I was also happy when someone told me “i purchased that skirt” that that skirt was finished to where someone would want to purchase it.
Currently I am in charge of bottoms such as skirts and pants but what I would like to challenge is to increase the number of shapes I am in charge of, and draw up patterns of other items such as dresses and blouses!
At Baroque Japan Limited, there are initiatives such as “NEXT IS YOU” to constantly incorporate new things. I think searching for work is very hard and takes its toil both physically and mentally, but it's also a good opportunity to take a good look at yourself so reconfirm what your strong points are and take confidence when taking the next step! My job is to do product development to purchasing planning and budget management and such. While looking at the market trends, considering the monthly product composition, determine the number of items ordered, the price, etc., and modify or launch new products according to the sales situation.
My dream, considering that I am working with fashion, is to be in charge of a brand that I think is wonderful and can really empathize with. Another point in making my decision was that ENFÖLD was a decisive positive team that was trying new things to grow, not satisfied with their current position.
I feel very satisfied with my work when something we got excited at and exclaiming that it’s good! it looks like it will sell! at the planning and sales team meeting actually sells as we expected after we order it or a product that has been added as we judged it the correct decision actually contributes to sales.
I am very happy and touched to see the products created through trial and error with the planning and production teams, or products that we strived hard to get to the stores in time actually placed at the store front, and seeing the customers actually buying them, or the sales staff actually interacting with the customers in a happy and lively manner.
MD's work consists of collaborative work with various people, not only planning, pattern makers and production teams, but also sales, store staff, and many other people. I would like to aim to create an environment where as a team we all face the same direction and we all grow in a positive way.

I control all the process from the specification as the base until the design becomes a product. Develop products with market competitiveness, paying attention to quality, cost, and delivery time. I also develop production bases and develop materials as well.
Before I joined the company I was a freelance working as an apparel OEM but I felt I wanted to grow myself a bit more. I had no experience in the production of ladies apparel but I joined the company as I wanted to tackle a new challenge.
Production management is to increase the profit for the company by more effectively producing products that are competitive, I think this is a worthwhile job where it connects directly with producing attractive products.

I worked as an apparel distributor in my previous job, but I wanted to work and sell a company brand, and I wanted to work in an environment where I was involved in brand management from the start.

During my job hunting, I thought that an industry where I could work while enjoying fashion was wonderful. The reason I decided to join Baroque was that I often shopped at MOUSSY in Tokyo, and I wanted to work with my favorite things! The rest is intuition!
That is when many customers purchase MOUSSY items. I was moved when I first got to see the results of analyses covering items such as what age groups purchased what products, and at which phase or stage, since it’s something that I didn’t really know while working in an actual store. I intend to make the best use of this information to create an environment in which customers can find the products they want more easily from now on.
My current goal is to increase the number of fans of the brand through EC! To that end, I feel that I will have to increase my experience and knowledge and grow fast!

After experiencing department store brands and fashion building brands, I became a fan of fast fashion after working for a foreign-affiliated apparel brand, and I applied to Baroque Japan Limited as I saw an article about Baroque’s debut with the first fast fashion brand. The interviewer was also frank and cool, so I thought I definitely wanted to join the company!
What is most enjoyable is that I can express what I really want to do. We also on a daily bases discuss how we can improve the brand with the same AXUL division members and act on it, and together create the brand - that I think is attractive.
I was very impressed when I created the store layout together with the VMD beginners while teaching them for hours on how it was done, and that lead to results.
So right now is what shall I do based on the determined direction. That is my stance and I would like to be in a position where I can decide in which direction to go to pull the brand.

There may not be that many companies in existence where you can work in an environment where there are seniors who can be respected. But at Baroque Japan Limited, that kind of environment is the norm, rather than the exception. I always try to work after asking the question, "Am I getting excited?" It is difficult to get others excited if you yourself are not excited. By becoming honest with items and incidents where I felt excited about, I can deal straight on with what I am working on.
As the face of the Baroque brand, my job is to increase the fans of the brand and the store by making our customers feel that they “want to buy from you again”. It is also to provide services that exceed customer expectations and improve customer satisfaction.
Working for an apparel job was new to me, but since I really loved the Baroque brand, I joined the company because I wanted to work here.
