Use of Environmentally Friendly Materials for Store Interiors

While until now, across new store openings and renovations, we have prioritized reusing rather than disposing of furnitures and fixtures that can be used again, for the flagship store to opened in 2023, we used even more environmentally friendly materials.

①The SHEL’TTER TOKYO Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku re-opened in March 2023

Paint made from recycled eggshells is used for the white painted parts of the new walls as part of the renovation. Additionally, some of the existing floors and fixtures were modified and reused.

②HeRIN.CYE Lumine Shinjuku 2 store opened in September 2023

Old materials are used for some of the box fixtures, shelves, and mirrors, and interior materials made from waste materials such as coal ash from thermal power plants and used coffee beans are used for the checkout counter. We also incorporated sustainable elements, such as torsos made from paper egg cartons and recycled paper.
